I take research all the way to the final build.
Usually research, design, and development are three different people. Something gets misread or left out every time work passes between them. I do all three myself so the thing I learned in research is still the thing shaping the build at the end.
I've worked in industries I knew nothing about going in: nonprofits, film production, university admissions, healthcare. Each time I had to learn enough to ask questions that made sense and recognize answers that mattered. I did it fast enough that the work was credible.
I also build things that keep working after I leave. The people who took over my projects didn't have to call me to figure out how anything worked. Some of them extended what I built into things I hadn't planned for.
Currently based in Toronto. Open to full-time roles.
These are the skills I use on every project no matter what industry or who I'm working with.
Research & Strategy
I figure out what the real problem is before anything gets designed. I do that through interviews, competitor research, and watching how people actually work.
Design & Delivery
I take a project from the first conversation all the way, figuring out what goes where and making design calls that still make sense when the thing actually gets built.
Production & Development
Front-end code, CMS setup, and systems that the next person can actually use without calling me. If it breaks the moment I leave, I didn't finish the job.
Compliance & Quality
Everything I ship works for people with accessibility needs. I build that in from the start so it doesn't become a problem to fix at the end.

I oversee UX, front-end development, and compliance work on projects for Canadian nonprofits and charities.
I run a consultancy that helps small and mid-sized companies modernize how they work. I've taken more than ten clients from first conversation to delivered solution across healthcare, fintech, e-learning, and manufacturing.
Hired by the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for website production requests. I handled between 20 and 60 requests a month and kept the site and intranet accurate, functional, and up to standard.
I joined early and worked across film, TV, and corporate projects. Whenever something technical was blocking a production, I figured it out.
ECE is one of Canada's top engineering departments. Prospective students were landing on their website, and leaving as fast. I ran the research, made the structural decisions, and built the pages myself inside WordPress.

FIIP Studios knew they would lose work to competitors offering AI services if they had no principled answer for how to do it themselves. I ran generative research workshops, assessed the tools and the competitive landscape, and built a framework from scratch. Then I ran it on a live project with a real client and a real deadline to prove it worked.
