Copywriting Creatives

Prior to Copywriting Creatives, I managed the digital lifecycle for the University of Toronto’s ECE Department. I implemented production requests across both the public website and intranet while also handling UI/UX Design and WordPress/CMS management.

End-to-End Digital Production to Drive Student Recruitment

The homepage was being bypassed entirely, limiting its role in student recruitment. This was a nine-month production engagement spanning content updates, new page builds, and a full homepage redesign: shipped with key information-rich internal pages built to receive the traffic.

  • Business Impact: Transformed for student recruitment by directing high-intent traffic to key pages.
  • User Impact: Reduced time-to-value through a clearer, student-focused content hierarchy.

Previous Work, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship

I originally started out freelancing for and interning at multiple businesses. In 2020, I had my first full time role, designing at Fix it In Post Studios (FIIP Studios). Later in 2021, I founded and led JKR Business Consultancy, delivering CX and digital solutions that included operational and financial workflows. I also continued my own freelance consulting practice, ranging from business, strategy, and content design to marketing and front-end development.

Delivered design system with governance processes, reducing design-to-dev discrepancies across modules for a Fintech SaaS Client.

Completed a UX design internship, conducting research and designing guidelines and low-fidelity wireframes for a construction management app.

While at JKR, I also worked on a project with my former employer, FIIP Studios, to integrate Generative AI into their service workflows without disrupting delivery timelines or compromising output quality.

Digital Transformation: Integrating GenAI Tools for Film Production

The studio needed a structured approach to integrating generative AI without losing creative control. I led the research to design a framework, then validated it through a live pilot project.

  • Business Impact: Achieved approx. 30–40% revenue growth.
  • Operational Impact: Reduced project timelines by approx. 2 weeks.
  • User Impact: Reduced client revision loops and increased emmployee morale regarding AI implementation.

Academia and Pro Bono Work

I hold two Master’s degrees: a Master of Information (UX) from the University of Toronto [2023-25] and in Electronic Media from Anna University, Chennai [2016-21]. Between 2023–2025, I've applied my skills to a range of academic projects at the University of Toronto, many of which involved real clients and real stakeholder pain points.
